Spend a Moment in My Mind

Musings, poetry, and other nonsense that occupies my thoughts.

Burning Bridges

For so long I’ve feared to cross that bridge
I preferred to stay on solid ground
where I could live inside a fantasy
and leave well enough alone.

Now, I've made up my mind
to venture out at a daring height
and made the choice to greet with open arms
what waits on the other side.
